"In today's world, not every enlargement policy is dead - Russia and the Islamic State are expanding. So, I see a threat that if Brussels decides to parts of Europe, who are not yet of the EU, put it on hold for a number of years, this will open up a range of security, political, economic, psychological and other problems. I am deeply convinced that further enlargement and further consolidation of the EU are not contrary processes", says MEP Picula.
