Thanks to Croatian Transplant Association, Croatian transplant medicine is at the top on the European and global level and giving the European Citizen's Prize to the Transplant Association, we also give this reward to volunteering, humanity and excellence!", Picula said at the ceremony.
He also pointed out that "the identity card of each political community is the relation towards the afflicted and those who were stigmatized by society" and how the work of the Transplant Association shows the size of Croatia's solidarity.
