Otvoreno - Turkey after the referendum

How will Turkey look like after the referendum? What can we expect in relations with the United States and Russia and whether this is the end of Turkey's entry into the EU - those were the topics of the show Otvoreno with guests: MEP Tonino Picula, prof.dr.sc. Vlatko Cvrtila, Dean of Vern University, prof.dr.dc. Dejan Jović from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb and Vlado Vurušić, journalist from Jutarnji list.

Relations between the European Union and Turkey have suffered for a long time, said Tonino Picula. He believes that this will surely strengthen the movements and demands of those who consider that this kind of Erdogan Turkey, doesn't deserve a place in the EU. But he also stressed that Turkey and the EU can not escape from each other, and that the opportunity for talks should remain.

Picula said that Erdogan probably had a vision to reach this level of political attraction and success, from the beginning.

"We can think of him whatever we want, but the history of his political career is a history of a successful break of resistance and change of various alliances. The problem is that there is no other strong articulated and successful political option that would put him into question", concluded Picula, Head of Delegation for relations with BiH and Kosovo.
