"Security is one of the political priorities in the European Union, given the changed nature of security challenges, it is good to recall how important it is to be a member of NATO. We need to ask ourselves, how stable are the countries we share the border with, and why do we have, after 6 years of membership in the EU and 10 years in NATO, barbed wire with our neighbors", asked Picula during his last time as a guest on Otvoreno on the Croatian Television on the occasion of ten years of membership in the NATO alliance.
Picula thinks that NATO enlargement is positive.
