Dossier Europe

Members of the European Parliament, Tonino Picula, Ivana Maletić and Željana Zovko were guests on the radio show "Dossier Europe" on Croatian Radio. They talked about the elections for the President of the European Parliament, the main challenges for the EU in 2017. and relations with Croatian neighbors.

"As a member of European Parliament I have proved that good relations with our neighbours open up the possibility of economic cooperation and this practice should continue. Unfortunately, Croatia has not yet managed to relax relations with its neighbors, including Slovenia. With its procedures, Slovenian authorities have led themselves into a hostage situation so these days we have the opportunity to react to the statements of certain Slovenian politicians, who they are trying to get what they didn't get at the negotiating table. I hope this will not hurt the relations where it is most important to keep them good and that is along the border - where the Croats and Slovenians live and work well together", MEP Picula said.
