You have set up in the Brussels exhibition of 120. anniversary of the Croatian social democracy – how did you decide to do that and why did you do it without your party, SDP?
The idea for the Organization of conference and exhibition in the European Parliament on the occasion of 120 years from the formation of the first Croatian social democratic parties is a natural derivative of the full awareness of one of the important European political heritage that we have. Besides that, I am one of the participants of the event which we marked two decades ago when we marked the 100 years of Croatian social democracy. In 1994 there was a Congress of unification of former SDP and SPH which was founded by Dr. Antun Vujić. The author of the exhibition and one of the participants of the Conference is Dr. Vujic, who is also the President of the Advisory Council of the SDP so the thesis of how I organised an event in the European Parliament outside the party doesn't stand. Admittedly, I'm sorry that more of my colleagues from the party didn't come, but they all told me earlier that they had earlier scheduled appointments.
Are you planning an exhibition in Croatia also?
Of course, I do not intend to archive exhibition as well as the topics that we discussed in Brussels. I am planning something similar in Croatia by the end of the year. I hope it will help to a larger response of local Social Democrats.
